WORLD CANCER DAY 2024

On February 4, 2024, SIMS College of Pharmacy organized a walkathon on World Cancer Day to raise awareness about cancer and promote healthy lifestyles. Students, faculty, and staff participated with enthusiasm, walking in solidarity with cancer patients and survivors. A standout moment during the event was when Mrs. B. Srinidhi, a compassionate Vth Pharm D student, donated her hair for wigs for cancer patients, exemplifying empathy and support for those battling cancer. The walkathon not only raised awareness about cancer prevention but also fostered unity and compassion, reinforcing SIMS College’s commitment to healthcare and community service.
