Teachers’ Day is celebrated on two different dates, on 5^th September in India and 5^th October worldwide. In India, Teachers’ Day is celebrated on 5^th September, i.e., the birthday of our former president Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Besides being India’s former president, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was a scholar, teacher and philosopher.Sims college of pharmacy organised Teachers’ Day on the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. All students decorated their classrooms and gave their teachers a bouquet of roses and many programs had been conducted in which each and every teacher participated enthusiastically.
